Washington: US President Joe Biden has been accused of a very serious allegation. It is alleged that, after leaving the post of Vice President in 2017, Biden raised a salary of $1 million while working as a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, but during this time he did not teach children in class even for a day. At the North America Leaders Summit in Mexico City on Tuesday (January 10), Biden said, 'I was a professor at Penn four years after being on the post of Vice President.'

At the same time, the Republican National Committee Research Unit has alleged that Joe Biden is lying about being a professor. The RNC revealed that the University of Pennsylvania paid Biden nearly US$1 million in salary over two years, but he did not teach students in the classroom for a single day. Joe Biden was an honorary professor at the Philadelphia School from 2017 to 2019. According to an investigative report by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Biden was given US $371,159 in 2017 and $540,484 in 2018 and 2019.

The report noted that in 2017, Biden accepted an honorary professorship, formally referred to as the "Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor". During this time, he also established the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington in addition to the Biden Institute at his alma mater, the University of Delaware. However, this role was honorary. During this, he gave lectures and talks to the students on campus but did not teach the entire semester's syllabus during that time.

The report further states that after serving as the Vice President in the Barack Obama administration, Joe Biden once served as an honorary professor at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) from 2017-2021. However, Biden did not teach semester courses; He has primarily given talks and lectures exclusively to students, and he heads the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington.

In April 2019, Biden was nominated for the US presidential elections. After this, the university relieved him. According to tax forms released by him, Biden received more than US $900,000 from the university between 2017 and 2019. In recent days, people asked President Biden about the work he did while he was a professor at Penn University.
