With 1.18 billion mobile users in the third quarter of the year, mobile data traffic in the country is expected to increase by 11x by the year 2023, which will increase from present 1.3 Exabytes to 14 Exabytes. In a new report, it has been claimed that according to the Ericsson Mobility Report, the number of smartphones in India per month (DB per month), which is 3.9 GB in 2017, will increase to 18 GB by 2023 by that year. 

Ericsson India Managing Director Nitin Bansal said that we hope LET will become the most effective technology in India by 2023 and the total membership of the country will be 60% LTE, whereas in 2017 this is only 12%. This report estimates that by 2023, there will be a total of 80 million VoLTE customers in India, whose annual compound rate (CAGR) will be 42.3 percent between 2017 and 2023.

This report says that up to 2023 global level will be one billion and 5G consumers. The first commercial network based on the 5G New Radio (NR) will start in 2019, while it will catch up in 2020. Those who will initially adopt the 5G network include America, South Korea, Japan, and China. 

Nicolas Haveldop, the chief strategic officer of Aricus and technology and emerging business, said that in this report, the development of network capabilities has been investigated with the emergence of new applications, including smartwatch, IOT alarms maintenance and repairs Many new areas are included.
