Naresh Kumar, the Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, said on Saturday that the loan procedure for the Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana (ANKY) and Atma Nirbha Bagwani Yojana (ANBY) should be more systematic and user-friendly. The chief secretary was hosting a meeting with bank officials and other state stakeholders to discuss ANKY and ANBY.

The committee determined that the complete loan procedure for both schemes should be put online starting next financial year, for the benefit of beneficiaries and to avoid delays and confusion in the loan process. The three Deputy Commissioners of the Lohit, Tawang, and Papumpare districts have been entrusted with developing software, according to an official communiqué.

A team from the NIC, the State Government's Information and Technology department, as well as staff from the agricultural and horticulture sectors, will help the DCs.

The team has been given till March 18 to complete the task. Kumar proposed that the software be of a universal character so that it may be used by other agencies for beneficiary-oriented plans and programmes of the federal and state governments.

He directed the DCs, who were virtually present at the conference, to examine the status of ANKY and ANBY in their districts on a daily basis in order to ensure the flagship projects' success. The meeting also resolved that the remaining accepted applications on the ANKY and ANBY should be ready for payout to the recipients on February 20 or 21.

In the presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Agriculture and Horticulture Minister Tage Taki, the government disbursed a loan of Rs 32.11 crore to various self-help groups and people across the State under the ANKY and ANBY programs.
