Lucknow: A case of murder has come to light after the rape of a 12-year-old girl from Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. The girl had left home to supervise the crop in her field. Then a gangster kidnapped and raped a minor girl, then strangled her to death.

When the girl did not return home till late evening, the family started searching for her. After not getting on the farm, the family and the villagers started searching for it nearby. Meanwhile, the dead body of the girl was found lying in a neighbouring field. On Saturday, after the postmortem report came, the police of Ramnagar police station went into action and when investigated, arrested a young man named Atal, who is 32 years old. When the police inquired, the accused Atal confessed his crime.

Giving information about the case, the Superintendent of Police has told that the 12-year-old minor used to go daily with her mother to the mustard field in Batai. She went on the day on Friday. Later his mother also left from behind, but the mother did not find her daughter there. Even after coming back to the village, he was not found there. The dead body of the woman was found in the adjacent field at night. When investigated, a young man named Atal was arrested and confessed his crime.
