Lucknow: Three teenage girls have been suddenly abducted from a village under the Mawai police station area in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The family said that the three teenage girls have gone missing from the village on the same day. On the complaint of the family, the police have registered a case of kidnapping and formed two separate teams and are engaged in tracing the abducted teenage girls.

Shivkumari (18), Gaura (15) and Lakshmi (13) were among the teenage girls who went missing under suspicious circumstances from Kotwa Majre Siwheel village. The families of the girls said the three lived together. On the evening of October 9, the trio had left for a farm near the village to defecate together. After this, they did not return to their house till late night, so the family started searching. They searched around and relatives, but could not find anything about the three anywhere. The victims then lodged a complaint at Mawai police station.

Mawai police station in-charge Neeraj Singh said that on receiving the complaint of the victims, a kidnapping report has been registered and two police teams have been deployed in search of the teenage girls. They claim that some clues have been found. Youths will be recovered soon.
