Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat, a mad lover has killed a girl by stabbing her with knives. The accused stabbed the girl's body at several places with a knife. The girl died during treatment in the hospital. The family members say that they had refused to marry their daughter to the young man. To avenge this, he killed their daughter.
After committing the murder, the accused himself reached the police station and surrendered. Police arrested the accused and started an investigation into the matter. Superintendent of Police Baghpat Neeraj Kumar has informed that the accused says that he was having an affair with the girl for the past several years. There was a dispute between the two about something and he killed the girl by stabbing her with a knife. The victim's family says that the family members of the young man had brought home a marriage relationship a few days ago. But they had refused. Since then, the accused party was pressurizing them. When they did not agree, their daughter was put to death by Rinku. The knife used in the murder has been recovered by the police.
The victim's father told the police that the youth had reached home on February 22 and threatened that he would kill Deepa if she did not marry him. The accused is in police custody and is being questioned. After the death of the daughter, there is mourning in the family.
