Lucknow: The murder of her mother in front of a 6-year-old girl in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh has been solved. It was the woman's brother-in-law who brutally killed his sister-in-law by hitting Silbatta in the head. Brother-in-law had fled after the murder. The case pertains to Mohalla Shanti Vihar in Thana Subhash Nagar area of Bareilly where there are two brothers in the working family. The elder brother is an electric worker, who lived with his wife Vinita Saxena and a six-year-old girl, while the other brother Akash doesn't do anything yet. At the time of the night when the woman's husband went to work somewhere. The deceased Vinita was at home with her 6-year-old daughter. At night Brother-in-law Akash came home and started asking for food. This led to a dispute between the two. On a trivial matter, Brother-in-law Akash hit the chutney grinding silbatta on Vinita's head, killing Vinita on the spot.

Akash locked the baby girl in another room and ran away. Neighbors reported the incident to the police in the morning. Police who reached the spot on receiving the information have seized the body of the deceased and sent it to postmortem and started searching for the accused. Significantly, in the interrogation, the 6-year-old girl narrated the whole incident with a parrot tongue. Police have since launched a hunt for the accused Brother-in-law.
