Sitapur: A shocking case of bowels being removed due to deteriorating health has come to light after the child left a towel in her stomach during the operation at Sitapur District Women's Hospital in Uttar Pradesh. There has been a stir in the health department after the husband took up the matter through the media. The husband's husband has made serious allegations against Dr. Sushma Karnwal, CMS of Women's District Hospital. After this, CMS Dr. Sushma Karnwal has given a warning to defamation cases only on the opposite victims.

Mohammad Faizan Akhtar Ansari, a resident of the city's Mohalla Kajiara, has given an application in the city Kotwali alleging that the delivery of his Begum Shagufta Anjum was performed by CMS Dr Sushma Karnwal of the District Women's Hospital on 5 June 2020. A daughter was also born, after which sterilization was done. Faizan further told that after the operation, his wife Shagufta started suffering from severe pain and vomitting at the place of operation.

On June 9, despite continuing persistence, she was discharged from the District Women's Hospital. A few days later, upon touching the operative, there was a feeling of something strong inside him. He was then shown in a private hospital in Lucknow and he was also subjected to several tests, in which something inside the abdomen was told. After this, the operation was done again on 25 September 2020 in the private hospital of Lakhimpur, then the doctors there told that the towel remained in the stomach due to the negligence of the doctor who had done the operation earlier in the women's district hospital.
