Lucknow: A minor girl has accused a ruling BJP leader and his relative of gang-raping her in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich. The minor girl, while talking to the BJP MP and MLC, narrated her ordeal and demanded action. The minor girl said that if action is not taken, she will be forced to commit suicide.
In fact, BJP MP from Bahraich Akshaywar Lal Gond was holding a press conference with party MLC Dr Pragya Tripathi at his residence on Thursday. A minor girl then arrived with her aunt and accused the Bahraich BJP city vice-president and one of his relatives of gang-raping her. The crying victim narrated the entire ordeal to the BJP MP. The victim cried in front of the press personnel present there and said that she was raped by BJP leader Hari Gupta or Pawan Pal and no action is being taken under pressure from BJP leaders, the accused wanted to kill her.
The victim further said that the accused have even filed a case of gang rape against her father or brothers to reconcile the case and they are constantly being threatened. In fact, a minor girl from a village under police station Risia area of Bahraich was raped by a boy from her village. It is alleged that the victim was raped by the BJP leader and his relative after assuring her of help. The victim's aunt had lodged a case against the two accused at Krishna Nagar police station in Lucknow Commissionerate on June 1, 2022.
