Lucknow: A student committed suicide by hanging herself after being hurt by her boyfriend's infidelity in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. Police have recovered a suicide note from the spot. In this, she has blamed her boyfriend for the suicide. The girlfriend has written in her suicide note that the boyfriend pretended to be in love with her and played with her body then left her.

The girlfriend has demanded action against her boyfriend in the suicide note. On the complaint of the deceased girl's family, the police have registered a case against the lover and started an investigation. Police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The incident took place in Raigai village under the Pihani Kotwali area. Here, 18-year-old Vandana committed suicide after being fed up with her boyfriend's infidelity. Vandana has blamed her boyfriend Pratyush alias Adarsh Maurya, a resident of the village, for her death.
Vandana was reportedly pursuing BA at a degree college in the Bilgram tehsil area. Pratyush alias Adarsh Maurya, a resident of the same village, used to study in Hardoi. Both of them were having a love affair for a long time. The boyfriend had left the student after having sex. Since then, she had been under a lot of stress. The police have said that action will be taken after an investigation into this whole matter.
On this matter, SP Hardoi Durgesh Kumar Singh has said 'A girl has committed suicide by hanging herself. A complaint has been received from the girl's mother. The deceased girl was having an affair with Pratyush and in this regard, the police have also recovered a suicide note from the spot. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.'
