LUCKNOW: A sensational case has been reported from Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli district. Here a young man cheated in love cut the veins of his hands and then hanged himself on the noose. The family rushed him to the district hospital in hurry, where doctors declared the youth was brought dead.
Sanjay Gupta (24), a Surya sweet house businessman near Johwasharki turn in Kundanganj village under Kotwali area, gave his life by hanging himself in a fan with the help of a rope by cutting the veins of both hands with a blade in his room at around 11 pm on Monday night. The deceased was not married. When the family members called him up for food and there was no response from the room, father Ramlakhan, and elder brother Sachin somehow broke the door and opened the room and saw that Sanjay was hanging on the gallows.
According to villagers, the deceased was in love with a girl. There is also a discussion that after being cheated in love, the deceased also made a video of him cutting the veins of his hand and also sent it on the girlfriend's mobile. SHO Jagdish Yadav said that the incident is being investigated. On receipt of the complaint, a case will be registered.
