The SP had an old office near the municipality on Devi Road in Mainpuri Nagar. The place where the SP's old office was built was allotted by the district panchayat in 2004. On September 9, a notice was pasted on the old SP office, the notice stated that two rooms built on Zila panchayat land were allotted for the SP Nagar office. The lease has been rejected on September 5 due to the construction of the office at another place. Therefore, the office should be evacuated within two days. But even after this, the SP did not vacate the office, then the administrative officials reached with the police force and got the office vacated and locked it.

Former SP Sadar MLA Raju Yadav had also reached the DM's office with his workers regarding this matter, but he did not get any relief, then the SP moved to the High Court and filed a petition. There has been no hearing from the High Court yet. By then, the administration bulldozed the old SP office.
