Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist Sabauddin Azmi from Azamgarh, who was planning to carry out a bomb blast on Independence Day. The arrest was made on Tuesday (August 9, 2022). Now ATS has reached the headquarters with Sabauddin Azmi, where his interrogation is going on. During this time, the ATS has also broken Sabauddin's mobile phone. He was also poisoning the minds of Muslim youth to do terrorism and jihad. He is also associated with the Telegram channel created by ISIS. The name of this channel is 'Al Swire Media'. The ATS is now trying to find out where Sabauddin Azmi was plotting to blast the bomb.

The way action is being taken against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, he was also talking to the people of Kashmir and provoking them. The terrorist had made politics a means to brainwash the youth. By joining AIMIM, Sabauddin was also involving other people in his terrorist activities. He had also contested the election of corporator from ward number 9 of Nagar Palika Mahul. He was carrying out jihadi activities by making election campaigning a medium.

He was also forming a separate organization for terrorist activities. He had also created a WhatsApp group of his own in the name of the party. Out of this, many people of Sabauddin's gang are suspected to be revealed. Many of his accomplices may be arrested soon. The intelligence unit and police of Azamgarh district have also increased activism and vigilance after this arrest. With this arrest, the conspiracy of bomb blast by this gang has been foiled.
