Lucknow: A major incident took place in Auraiya Janpad in Uttar Pradesh early in the morning on Saturday. According to the information, the DCM and the auto clashed face-to-face. Eight people died on the spot while 3 others were seriously injured in the incident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment. Five government teachers are reported to be among the dead.

The incident took place when the auto driver overtook his vehicle speedily and casually near Sauthra airport in Sahaya police station area of Auraiya Janpad when the DCM truck collided head-on with a speeding truck. Eight people died on the spot while 3 were seriously injured in the incident. The injured were rushed to the hospital by the regional villagers by ambulance.
