Lucknow: Six people lost their lives in Uttar Pradesh's Azamgarh due to the consumption of spurious liquor in the past few days. Now in the police investigation, the connection of this poisonous liquor business seems to be linked to former Bahubali MP Ramakant Yadav of the Samajwadi Party (SP). After the death of people due to consumption of poisonous liquor, when the police raided the illegal liquor factory, the factory of making fake syrups was also busted there. This factory was running in a luxurious house.

A raid led by Azamgarh Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya revealed that Rangesh Yadav, a relative of Bahubali and former MP Ramakant Yadav, had a hand in it. According to the police's claim, Rangesh Yadav, the nephew of the arrested Ramakant Yadav, has admitted that he used to sell the spurious liquor made by Fahim for three months and six people lost their lives due to the consumption of the same poisonous liquor.

The police have seized illegal liquor, equipment, bottles and lid labels worth over Rs 30 lakh from the illegal factory during the raid. Let us know that seven people died after consuming illegal liquor in the Ahraula police station area of Azamgarh. A case was registered in this case by the police in Ahraula and Phulpur.
