Lucknow: In Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, Nanhu Khan, who committed cruelty to a minor daughter, has been sentenced to death by a court. Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of 51,000 rupees. Additional Sessions Judge FTC I / Under the Rape and POCSO Act, Nitin Pandey has sentenced his 40-year-old father to death for raping a minor daughter. According to reports, the mother of a minor girl living in the Sujauli police station area of Bahraich had filed a case against her husband.
On August 25, the local police were stunned to read his complaint letter. In her complaint, the wife stated that her husband has been forcibly raping her 14-year-old daughter for the past two years. Nanhu Khan was caught red handed by the mother and her son after hearing the screaming of the girl in the night. After this, the police registered a case against the rapist father under rape and POCSO and arrested him and started investigating the case.
The wife told the court that her father had married the daughter to show the society, but later he brought her back to his house. He used to rape her everyday. The wife filed a case against her husband for not listening even after persuading him several times. The girl's brother had also testified against his father's actions in court. Special District Government Advocate POCSO Sant Pratap Singh had demanded the judge to severely punish the rapist in the serious case. The rapist has now been sentenced to death.
