Banda: A young man set his uncle on fire alive by spraying petrol due to a dispute over money transactions in Jabrapur village under Fatehganj police station area of Banda district of Uttar Pradesh. During treatment, the uncle died on Thursday evening. Police has arrested the accused youth.
On giving information about the case, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mahendra Pratap Singh Chauhan has told that in the controversy over the transaction of money in Jabrapur village of Fatehganj police station area, on Wednesday evening, Rambharosa sprinkled petrol on his 55-year-old uncle Binda Prasad. He was admitted to the district hospital for treatment in critical condition. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mahendra Pratap Singh Chauhan said that Binda Prasad, who was badly burnt, died in the district hospital during treatment on Thursday evening. He told that the body has been kept for post-mortem.
Satyaprakash Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CO) of the Atra region, informed that Rambharose had to borrow some money from Binda, which he was not returning. There was a minor dispute between the two about this matter two days ago. The CO said that Rambharose, accused of setting the fire, was arrested on Wednesday night. A case of attempt to murder was registered against him earlier. Since Binda has died, section 302 of murder will also be added to the case.
