Varanasi: On Tuesday, a girl's body was found in the room of a guest house at Paradekothi in Sigra police station area of Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh. The regional police reached the spot and after investigation with the forensic team, the body was sent for postmortem. The possibility is revealed that the young man who came with the woman strangled her to death and closed the door of the room and escaped.
During interrogation, the employees have told that Renu (24) and Amit (27), who are from Jharkhand, came to the guest house on Monday evening. Both described themselves as husband and wife and said that they had come here for treatment. Both completed the formalities of the guest house. After this, the guest house manager give them the keys of room number 103. When Suraj, an employee of the guest house, went for room service and cleaning, stopped after seeing the room's latch closed from outside. When the employee opened the door of the room, he was shocked to see the dead body of the woman inside.
He immediately informed the hotel manager and then the information about the case is given to the police. CO Chetganj and the forensic team along with the police station in-charge also reached the guest house. During the investigation, a letter from the body has also been recovered. It is being told that the two lovers who described themselves as a couple were an actual couple. According to CO Chetganj, the woman was strangled to death. He said that the police team is searching for the accused youth, who belongs from Jharkhand.
