6 killed in a bus-trailer collision in UP, 2 in critical condition

Ayodhya: A massive road accident has occurred on National Highway 27 in Uttar Pradesh. Six people lost their lives in the collision of the bus and trailer. Two persons were also seriously injured in the incident. The injured have been referred to Lucknow for treatment. The moderately injured passengers have been admitted to the district hospital.

The incident occurred near the Roj Gaon over bridge in the Rudauli Kotwali area. The incident occurred when two roadways buses from Kanpur to Basti were going on the same lane. In the meantime, suddenly the two buses collided. However, there was no casualty. The passengers who landed on both the buses came to see the situation when the trailer coming from behind hit a bus, in which 8 people injured. After receiving information about the incident, the police rushed the injured to the district hospital where 4 persons were pronounced dead by doctors.

Two other injured were also killed shortly thereafter. In view of the critical condition, 2 injured have been referred to Lucknow. SP Shailendra Singh said that two roadways buses were running back and forth. The vehicle was hit by the DCM, which also stopped the rear vehicle from which people came out and started watching what happened. Meanwhile, the rear ballast trailer hit the roadway bus.
