Lucknow: A major road accident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh. A Maruti car coming from behind rammed into a container already parked on the road near Narayanpur village on the Lucknow-Ayodhya National Highway here on Wednesday morning. In this tragic accident, six people of the same family, including the husband and wife and their two children, were killed in the car.

According to information, 35-year-old Ajay, a resident of Rasulpur Majre Hayat Nagar under Rudauli police station area, which falls within the border of Ayodhya district, used to work as a saree-making worker with his family in Surat city of Gujarat. On Tuesday, he was returning home in a car with his 28-year-old wife Sapna, 10-year-old son Yash, 8-year-old son Ayansh, 36-year-old elder brother Adarsh and 26-year-old Ram Janam of the same village.  

Ajay's family was returning home with laughter in the car. Ajay's elder brother Adarsh was driving. At around 2:30 p.m., these people also spoke to the family members at home on mobile. But at around 3 a.m., his car collided with a container already parked in front of a hotel near Narayanpur village. The collision was so severe that the car's wheels flew away. All the people sitting in it died on the spot.
