Corona again raises concern, 'masks' made mandatory again in these districts of UP

Lucknow: The alertness has been stepped up amid rising corona cases in Uttar Pradesh again. CM Yogi Adityanath has directed that the wearing of masks should be made mandatory in public places in Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Bulandshahar, Baghpat and Lucknow. In these districts, those who have been left out of vaccination should be identified and vaccinated. The public address system should be used effectively. People with symptoms should be tested.  

CM Yogi Adityanath was holding a meeting with team-9 officials on Monday. He has directed that only the omicron variant of the corona has been confirmed during genome sequencing of the sample of patients found to be corona infected in NCR. According to experts, it is possible that the number of cases will increase, but there will be no situation of hospitalization or the patient is very serious. People should be made aware to follow covid guidelines.  

CM Yogi further said that some states bordering the state are seeing a rise in Covid cases. It also has an impact in the districts of NCR. Cases have been on the rise here for the past few days. In the last 24 hours, 65 new cases have been detected in Gautam Budh Nagar, 20 in Ghaziabad and 10 in Lucknow. The situation in these areas should be closely monitored.
