Lucknow: Something new is happening day by day in Uttar Pradesh these days. New laws are coming up every day which are proving beneficial for the people. Something similar has happened recently. Big news related to the interests of tenants has come out here. According to the information, the Model Tenancy Act prepared by the Central Government is going to be implemented in Uttar Pradesh also soon.

This Act will be implemented with amendments keeping in mind the interests of the building owner and tenants. The government has also sought suggestions from the people before implementing it. According to the information received, any person can give their suggestions on the proposed Act by 20 December. The model draft of the Tenancy Act has been sent to all the states by the Union Urban Development Ministry. Before implementing the Tenancy Regulations Ordinance-2020 of the proposed Uttar Pradesh Urban Complexes on the model draft of the Center, the state CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the departmental officers to seek suggestions from the residents on this model.

Principal Secretary Housing and Urban Planning Deepak Kumar told, 'Draft of the proposed Act can be seen on the departmental portal awas.up.nic.in and Awasbandhu.' Deepak Kumar also informed the media, 'Any person can give their suggestions by 20 December to the Housing Department at Lal Bahadur Shastri Bhavan. Based on the appropriate suggestion, the proposed act will be changed and placed before the cabinet.
