Lucknow: A girl was strangled to death by her father and brothers with a dupatta in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly on Eid 2015 after they came to know about her love affair. Now the court has found three people, including the father and son, guilty after 7 years in this case and sentenced them to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 12,000 each on the convicts. In fact, Khurshid Khan, a resident of Kabra Kishanpur of Shergarh police station of Bareilly, had come to know about his daughter's love affair.
After which the father, along with his son and brother Nurshad Khan and one of his friends, killed the daughter on the day of Eid and threw the body in the bushes near the village. The accused spread the news of the missing deceased to avoid the police and told the police that the girl was kidnapped, after which the police registered a case in the unknown and started investigation. After about 4 months, the family of the deceased gave a complaint to the SSP for action against the girl's so-called lover Pappu, so that the lover gets caught in the murder and the killers are saved. The police found in the investigation that under what circumstances the complaint was given by Khurshid Khan to take action against Pappu after 4 months after the incident. Instead of defending this, the suspicion towards the accused deepened and the police filed a charge sheet in the court considering the three guilty.
ADGC Crime Reetram Rajput has said that Tasleem Khan had informed the police on September 29, 2015, after the body of the young woman was found in a pond in the forest of Swale Mujahidpur, the neighbouring village of the three murderers. After this, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and got the post-mortem done and registered a case of murder against unknown people. At the same time, the police found in the investigation that the three accused had killed Ruby in the forest of village Swale Mujahidpur of Shergarh at 10 pm on September 25, 2015. After this, the case was fought for 7 years in court. Statements of 18 witnesses were recorded. After that, Additional Sessions Judge Court-14 Hariprasad found the three accused guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 12,000 each.
