New Delhi: The crime graph in Uttar Pradesh is increasing day by day. Only the incidents of Hathras, Balrampur, Bulandshahr and Bhadohi are not shocking. In the last five years in the state, the incidents of minor girls are also very fearful. The crime figures of minor girls held in the UP Assembly show that one minor is being raped every 5 hours. A minor is being abducted in every two hours.
Not only that, every two days, a child is being killed. However, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly making efforts to prevent crimes and bringing about changes. Dozens of encounters have been carried out, even after the culprits are not being restrained. On December 17, 2019, the case of crime against girls in the state was also raised during the Up Assembly session. Mla Sushma Patel raised the issue. In response to a question raised by Sushma, the UP government had presented data on crime against girls.
According to those figures, 25,615 cases of kidnapping of girls under the age of 18 were registered in the state from January 2015 to October 30, 2019. 9703 girls were subjected to rape. Not only that, in the last 5 years, 988 girls were killed. These figures were presented on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government.
