Journalist shot dead in Kaushambi, investigation underway

Lucknow:: Crime is at its peak in Uttar Pradesh, every day there are incidents of crime in the state. In this order, a weekly newspaper journalist has been shot dead in Kaushambi district on Wednesday afternoon. The killing took place on the road from Mahgaon town under the Purmufti police station area, where unidentified miscreants have carried out the incident.

When the case went to the police, the police have gathered evidence on the spot and the corpse has been sent for post mortem. Hindi weekly newspaper journalist and Malak Mohiniddinpur Village resident Faraj Aslam was working as district correspondent. On Wednesday afternoon, he was returning home on a bike from Panagarpur. Before reaching the highway, unidentified miscreants surrounded the journalist outside the village and shot him, killing Faraj Aslam on the spot. Police officers are currently investigating the cause of the killing.

The Superintendent of Police said, the police arrived on the spot and is investigating the case as soon as the incident is reported. Who are the people behind the murder and what is the reason? It is being looked into, he said that it is too early to say anything that the search for miscreants is continuing.
