Etawah: In Uttar Pradesh, a husband-wife fight escalated to such an end in Chakarnagar tehsil of Etawah district that the woman stabbed her husband with an axe. The case pertains to Village Bachchi in Thana Chakarnagar, where Ashwini Tiwari's family lives. Ashwini was married near Jehanabad in 2005. Ashwini works at a manager's post in an LNT company in Ahmedabad. He came to his village 3 days ago with leave. They have three children who live in the village itself. Ashwini's family consists of parents, a wife and 3 children living in the village.
Injured Ashwini's brother Gaurav said that there was a quarrel between his brother and sister-in-law after which the sister-in-law stabbed Ashwini seven to eight times with an axe, leaving him seriously injured. His father, who came to the rescue, was bitten and injured by his sister-in-law. The younger brother Gaurav called the police in hurry. Police reached the house and took his sister-in-law into custody. Police admitted the critically injured Ashwini to the district hospital from where he has been referred for treatment.
Gaurav has alleged that his sister-in-law has a nazi relationship with an unknown person in his mother's house. Because of which she stabbed her husband with an axe with the intention of killing him. Dr Prashant Tripathi said that a case has come up in Chakarnagar tehsil who has been attacked in the head seven to eight times with a sharp weapon. There have been serious injuries. He has been admitted by the Chakarnagar police, referred to Saifai Medical College after first aid. Chakranagar police station president Atul Kumar Lakhera said that a case has been registered under sections 323, 504, 506, 324 after the family members of the injured person came to Tahrir in the middle of the night. The woman is taken into custody. Being questioned. The woman has said that she was fed up with her husband's beatings and tortures and committed the attack. The investigation is still underway.
