Ghaziabad: A young drunk man was killed by a brick in a minor incident on Tuesday under the Thakurdwara flyover in Kotwali police station area of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district. The police have arrested the accused. Sonu (35) Thakur, a resident of Noida, used to haul water at the new bus stand. He falls asleep seeing the place anywhere.

On Tuesday, Sonu and his friend Mohan were drinking wine under the Thakurdwara flyover. During this time, there was an argument between them about something. In which Mohan slammed Sonu on the head after coming in a fit. Due to which he bled. Immediately, people present there gave information to the police over the phone. On arrival, the police rushed Sonu for treatment to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead. The police have taken the dead body and sent it for postmortem and started an investigation into the incident.

While giving information about the case, Inspector Satera Kumar, in-charge of the police station has told that there was a fight between Sonu and Mohan over something. In which Mohan hit a brick on Sonu's head. Due to which he died." He told that Mohan is addicted to alcohol. He has been arrested.
