New Delhi: A police-administration team busted the ongoing flesh trade business late on Thursday night at a spa centre run in the basement of a mall in Vaishali Sector-3 of Ghaziabad's Kaushambi police station area adjoining the national capital. The team arrested four young women and five youths, including the spa centre operator, on the spot. The police have registered a case against the nine accused. Police are on the lookout for the absconding spa operator.

In fact, the spa centre was running in the basement of a mall in Vaishali Sector-3. Police had received information about the women being lured and tortured under the guise of the centre. On Thursday night, CO Indirapuram Abhay Kumar Mishra and Additional City Magistrate II Nikhil Chakravarty along with their team reached the mall. He visited the spa centre running in the basement of the mall. Seeing the police, there was a stampede at the spot. During this time, the team found the young woman and the youth sitting at the reception of the centre, while three people, including a young woman, were found on the sofa and two rooms were locked inside the centre. Two pairs were found in an objectionable condition when the rooms were opened. The police also found several mobile phones including Rs 13,000 cash on the spot.

All those arrested by the police were strictly questioned. Kaushambi police station in-charge Sachin Malik said that the girls told that they did not have any means of livelihood. A few days ago, they met the operator sitting at the reception. It was through them that everyone reached the spa centre. He had lured them to earn more money. Coming into his trap, they also got involved in the dirty business of prostitution. Police have registered a case against the four young women, including Nitin, Rashid of Delhi and Ajay, Kunal and Ankit of Ghaziabad under sections of the Immoral Trafficking Act.
