Gonda: A shocking case is reported from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman is beaten up for asking school timing. People considered the woman as a child thief. The villagers of Rehli village under Nawabganj police station area tied him to a tree and beat him fiercely on charges of child theft.

The villagers tied the woman to the tree and beat her until the police arrived. The divorced mentally retarded woman was rescued by the police from the clutches of the people. In Rehli Bhailal Purwa village under Nawabganj police station area of Gonda, a mentally retarded and divorced woman was surrounded by people and tied to a tree and then, in turn, the women and men of the village beat the woman with hands and slippers.

In fact, after the woman had asked the villagers for school leave, the villagers saw the woman surrounded and tied her to a tree and beat her with a lot of her. Police rushed to the spot and freed the woman from the clutches of the villagers and took the injured woman to the police station. At present, the police is deciding to take action against the accused.
