Lucknow: In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, an elderly man has filed a police complaint over his property being rented. Rajman Rai claims Congress rented his home in 2019 to establish an office. However, due to numerous months of non-payment of rent, the arrears have risen to almost 3 lakh 90 thousand rupees. Their granddaughter is being married on December 2, according to the complaint. Even still, the Congress leaders are not paying attention to him.

"His remarks imply that he does not plan to pay the rent," the complaint added. At Lallu's request, Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Singh lent out his home to the party, according to Rajman Rai. He has identified Lallu and Gorakhpur district collector Nirmala Paswan as defendants in his case filed at Rajghat police station. According to media accounts, the issue was escalated to the police following a verbal altercation. Inspector Rajghat Randhir Mishra verified that the complaint had been received. According to the victim, he rented his property to Gorakhpur Congress chief Nirmala Paswan for Rs 15,000 a month. Nirmala Paswan, on the other hand, has disputed Rajman Rai's charges. She claims that there is no such thing as rent.
The complaint, on the other hand, says that the Congress president has now said that there is no agreement. I entrusted them with my home. Shalabhamani Tripathi, the communications advisor to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, tweeted a video of the victim, tagging Rahul Gandhi. 'Don't pay the rent of The Elderly Rajman Rai ji of Gorakhpur, donate it, is there anything left called morality?' Tripathi stated in his tweet.
