Lucknow: After the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the administration has now become alert about keeping the national flag in a harmonious and safe manner. In Uttar Pradesh, the district administration in Basti has made arrangements to deposit the tricolour in government offices in case of any damage. District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan has requested citizens to deposit the damaged national flag at a nearby government office if a citizen finds a damaged national flag at a place. Do not throw or try to remove the national flag anywhere.

On Tuesday, the District Magistrate said that there is a process of removing the tricolour. He said that citizens should keep the national flag hoisted in their homes safe and respectful at home. They can hoist it on the completion of 100 years of independence. He said that all citizens should take off the national flag respectfully and keep it safe in their homes. The District Magistrate said that a separate counter has been ordered to be set up in all government offices of the district to deposit the damaged tricolour.

Let us know that on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, along with government offices, common citizens have also hoisted the tricolour at their homes. He said it is possible that the vandalised tricolour may be found lying somewhere. She urged that any citizen who gets it, deposit it in the nearest government office.
