Hamirpur: A sensational case has come out of Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here an eccentric lover adopted his fiancée with knives and then hanged himself with her dupatta and committed suicide. As soon as the incident was reported, the family members of the girl got her admitted to the community centre in a critical condition. From here she was referred to Jhansi. At present, the police has started investigating the matter by taking the lover's corpse.
This case is related to village Itaura under Majhgawan police station area. Ghanshyam Joshi's daughter Jyoti had a love affair with Devendra. The family had also engaged both three years ago, after which both used to meet often. Like the rest of the day, Devendra had come to meet his fiance on Wednesday. The two reached the village farm. During the talks, there was a dispute between the two. This debate grew so much that Devendra took out the knife and attacked Jyoti.
After killing Jyoti, Devendra hanged himself from her dupatta and committed suicide. Jyoti's friend saw all this and made a noise. Hearing the voice, people rushed to the spot and took the injured Jyoti to the hospital. Jyoti has been admitted to CSC Rath for treatment. In view of Jyoti's critical condition, she was referred to Jhansi. The police have taken the body of Devendra and taken it for postmortem. The police is currently investigating the case.
