Truck breaks bridge railing and falls into river, driver including two SOG constables died

Hardoi: There has been a fear-blowing road accident in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. A truck suspected of theft and a truck carrying the driver including two SOG constables of the team fell into the canal breaking the railing of the river. The truck driver, including two SOG constables, was died in the accident. The bodies of all have been recovered.

Police officials rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and pulled the truck out of the river. The three have drowned as soldiers and truck drivers were trapped in the truck. The truck was stolen from the Shahabad area 10 days ago. The stolen truck was seized and brought from Rupapur by Hardoi SOG police. SOG police constables Shravan Jaiswal and Bhupendra Sharma along with the driver were also present in the truck.

In the early hours of the morning, when the truck was passing over the Garra river bridge in Pali police station, the truck broke the railing of the bridge and fell 25 feet down into the Garra river. After the incident, the vehicles of SOG coming behind the truck immediately informed the local police about the entire incident. Police officials also rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported.
