In the 7th Junior National Hockey Championship 2017 (Women) 'A' Division at Aishbagh Stadium the Uttar Pradesh Hockey beat Hockey Chandigarh by 4-0.
Sonal Tiwari (22') and Kirti Prajapati (51') scored the goals and helped the team in winning over the Hockey Chandigarh.
In Pool C, Sports Authority of India recorded an emphatic 11-1 victory over Hockey Coorg. In Pool B, Hockey Bhopal beat Hockey Uttarakhand by 4-2.
