Lucknow: In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a father publicly murdered both his daughter and lover on February 1, enraged by his daughter's love affair. The girl's father cut the duo to death with an axe and fled the spot. The government administration has reached the spot on the information of the murder and is looking for the killer. The most painful aspect is that the father of the boy was forced before his eyes to see his son and his girlfriend being murdered but could not save them.

The case is in Ghatampur area of Kanpur, where a girl from Virhanpur village loved a boy from the locality. The whole village knew about their love. The girl's father Shivhare got wind of it and tried to stop the dream, but it didn't matter to the two lovers. The girl was alone in the house on Thursday morning when the boy reached to meet her, but it was somehow reported to Sapna's family. The girl's father entered the house with his brothers, then he killed both of them.

Hearing the boy's screams, his father rushed there, but the girl's family had locked the door from inside. Finally, in front of the boy's father, the couples were killed by the girl's family. The killer father along with his brothers fled the spot after killing the duo. Senior police officials rushed to the spot on the information of two murders simultaneously. Police officials said both lovers have been killed. The accused are being searched.
