Kanpur: The death of a 19-year-old girl in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, after falling from the 10th floor is gaining momentum. The young woman worked in the house of a millionaire businessman. The shocking truth came to light after her postmortem report came out. Police have arrested the businessman and his son. In fact, the body of a 19-year-old girl was recovered under Gulmohar apartment in Kanpur city at 7 pm on Tuesday. The young woman had come to Pratik, who lives on the 10th floor, to work as a private secretary two days ago.

Pratik, who is divorced, said after the death of the young woman that the girl had jumped out of the building and committed suicide. While the family members of the deceased had lodged a murder FIR against the accused after the rape. Police arrested the accused Pratik from his father SK Baishya's house the night after the case. The next day on Wednesday a panel of three doctors conducted a postmortem of the deceased. As the postmortem report did not clearly confirm the rape, the slide was made and sent to the investigation. According to this, injury marks were found in the private parts of the deceased. Marks such as cigarette burning were also found in the hands. The bones of the hands and feet and head were broken.

Police Commissioner Asim Arun issued a press note saying that the accused had tried to rape the girl when he did not succeed threw the girl down from the tenth floor. The family members started organically demanding compensation after the postmortem the previous evening. Samajwadi Party (SP) workers also joined in support of the demand and clashed with the police.
