Lucknow: A case of sexually exploiting a Hindu girl in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district and then pressurising her to change religion by making obscene videos has come to light. In her complaint to the police, the victim has said that Sohail had befriended her by giving her name as Saurabh. In her complaint, the girl has said that Sohail kept her with her uncle for four days and had physical relations with her and also took off her obscene video. During this time, she came to know that he is not Saurabh but Sohail. After this, when she reached Sohail's house, Sohail and his family started pressurizing her to convert to Islam. The victim then approached the Bajrang Dal.

Superintendent of Police City Rajesh Kumar Singh said that information has been received about Sohail and that he is a resident of Rajasthan. He had engaged his family members to persuade the young woman to change her religion and become a Muslim for the sake of marriage. The accused, Sohail Shah, has been arrested from Maheshwari Adda Behat Road while trying to escape to Dehradun.
