Bijnor: After the love jihad cases came to light in many cities of Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government had approved the law against it, but even after this, such cases are not stopping. The latest case has come out of Bijnor where the young man has been accused of hiding religion by driving a minor Dalit girl into the courts. A similar case came to light from Bijnor on December 13.

The second case of love jihad has come to light in Bijnor. The young man is accused of hiding his religion and has driven a minor Dalit girl into the trap of her love. He wanted to get married by putting pressure on forcible conversion. Family members complained about the matter to the police. The police recovered the girl and arrested the accused youth. The case belongs to Dhampur police station area. According to the police, in a village in the area, a young man named Saqib implicated a minor Dalit girl in his love after revealing his name as Sonu and then drove away. The family accused Saqib alias Sonu that he is forcibly converting his minor girl and pressurizing her to marry. The police, while acting on the complaint of the minor girl's father, apprehended the accused young man Saqib as Sonu and also recovered the girl safely.

Superintendent of Police, Sanjay Kumar has told that the missing girl has been recovered. A case was registered against him under the SC-ST Act and the Law against Religion Resistance Ordinance. Further legal action is being taken.
