Surajpal's 13-year-old son, who lives in Chinhat police station area of Lucknow, had been in high fever for 1 week. He was being treated by Surajpal at home with medicine, but his son died when his health deteriorated. When they sought help from neighbors to shoulder their son's death, no one agreed to shoulder the son for fear of corona infection. Corona's panic was such that even relatives did not attend.

In such a situation, the father placed his son's body on his shoulder and dug a grave near a drain near the Laulai sub-center in Chinhat, and buried his son's body. In the meantime, the father was in a bad state. The fear of corona infection among the people was such that people did not even come out of the house to shoulder the death of a non-covid-19 son.
