Maharajganj: In Uttar Pradesh, four youth and a woman have died in Mahrajganj district due to high tension wire. All these women were doing sowing work in paddy fields. Superintendent of Police Mahrajganj Rohit Singh Sajwan said the incident took place at Sidhwari Tola in Farenda tehsil on Monday.

According to Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan, the deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Lakshmi, 18-year-old Radhika, 18-year-old Soni, 18-year-old Vandani and 45-year-old Bugatti. All the women died due to high tension wire while sowing in the field. On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the magistrate to conduct an inquiry into the incident.

With this, CM Yogi has also announced financial assistance of Rs 13 lakh to the family members of each deceased. A statement issued by the state government said that a committee has been set up to probe the incident. who will look into the whole matter and submit a report. With this, THE CM Yogi has expressed grief over the incident.
