Electricity crisis deepens in UP, employees on strike, districts plunged into darkness

Lucknow: Electricity crisis has arisen in Uttar Pradesh, the officials of the electricity department have also announced to go on strike at 4 o'clock today, after which the power crisis has deepened in many districts, there is no electricity at many ministers' houses, the state government is currently engaged in resolving the matter.

The power supply in the VIP areas of the capital Lucknow has come to a standstill as the workers are on a strike. There is a power cut at two dozen ministers' houses including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma, Swami Prasad Maurya, Mohsin Raza. The power supply of more than 60 MLAs and members of the Legislative Council was also disrupted. The lights of many former ministers, justices, Congress headquarters, VIP guest house, CM control room have also gone, from today onwards, the power officers have also announced to go on a strike, after which this crisis has deepened.

This matter was dealt with by the Energy Minister. A view of this came to the fore today when the State Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma went among the employees to end the strike of the workers in the state and announced to withdraw the proposal of privatization of Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam. They were also going to sign this proposal. The workers were about to end their strike when the chairman refused to sign the motion.
