Mathura: A post-mortem report in the murder of an 8-year-old girl who went missing on the evening of 26 November in a village under the Vrindavan Kotwali area of Mathura city in Uttar Pradesh has revealed that the body of the girl was also raped. The body of the girl was found on the morning of 27 November in the forest of Sunarkh village near the multi-storey parking located on Chhatikara road in Vrindavan. In this case, the police arrested a person who is seen often roaming there and the family members of the girl also suspected him.
On giving information, Superintendent of Police (City) Uday Shankar Singh said that according to the post-mortem report, the girl has more than normal injuries in the sexual organ and the girl has been raped several times. He said that according to the report, the body was also raped. He said that it seems that the accused is not mentally healthy, so a psycho test will be done. The girl's family sat on a dharna on Tuesday. He says that more people are involved in this case and until the other accused are arrested, they will not stop the picket.
Police forces have been deployed around the house of the victim's family. Police officers themselves are reaching the spot and interacting with the family members and the activities of the arrested accused have also been given to the families. On giving information, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr Gaurav Grover has informed that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to solve the complexities of the case.
