Meerut: There was a stir in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh when the dilapidated roof of a private school collapsed suddenly. More than half a dozen children are reported to have been seriously injured in this accident. Soon after the accident, the injured children were rushed out of the rubble and admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.

A private school in the name of Saraswati Gyan Mandir is run in Dabathwa village under the Sardhana police station area. On Saturday (September 07), the school's shabby roof suddenly collapsed, in which schoolchildren studying in the school got buried in the rubble. There was a scream in the school and in a hurry, the local people got together and admitted all the children to the nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

At the same time, upon receiving the information of the incident, the parents also reached the spot and reached the hospital with their children. After the information of the accident, Superintendent of Police, Ram Arj has said that strict legal action will be taken against whichever negligence is revealed in the accident. At the same time, the SDM has asked the school manager to give all the documents related to the school's infrastructure.
