Rampur: The corona is battling an epidemic. People also have to face a lot of trouble for food and drink. In such a situation, the government has started helpline numbers for their convenience. But there are some people that even in this emergency time, they are engaged in fulfilling their hobbies through these helpline numbers. One such case has come to light where paan and samosa were ordered through helpline number. By identifying such people, the administration got the cleaners installed and got the sewers cleaned.

While giving information, District Officer Anjaney Kumar Singh said that the needy are being helped through the control room during the launch. But some are taking unfair advantage of it. Some bananas and some paan and samosa are calling here to order. Once called, call again and ask what happened. We had ordered such and such a thing. We first explained them, when they did not agree then action was taken against them.

One person had called for the samosas by calling the helpline while the other had expressed a desire to have a pan. The police team identified him and took action against him. No legal punishment was given, but social work was done. Both the people were cleaned with dirty drains along with cleaners. Also, people were advised not to misuse the helpline.
