Lucknow: A horrific road accident has occurred in Uttar Pradesh. An uncontrolled car fell into the ditch here. Five people have died in the accident. Children are also among the dead. Police officers including SP have reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. From here, the injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred near Pipariya Navadia Mor, falling under the Police Gajraula area on Assam Highway of Pilibhit. According to the information, first the car crashed into the tree, then fell into the ditch. 10 people including children were sitting in the car. In which five people including three children died on the spot. Ashwani Upadhyay, hailing from Surabhi Colony of Kotwali Puranpur in Pilibhit district, had gone to attend the marriage ceremony with his eight-year-old son Love and friends. This accident occurred while coming back at around 12:00 pm.

Gajraula Inspector Naresh Kashyap was on patrol at the time. They hurriedly got everyone out of the car. Five people, including three children, died on the spot. The deceased include Ashwani Upadhyay (30), Amit Kashyap (32), Noni (10), Golu (5), Love (5), while Rekha Upadhyay, Minnie, Sushma, Asha and Udaya were injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
