A bullet hit him in the legs in the counter firing by the police. The miscreant, who was shot, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The second crook managed to escape. The miscreants caught after the encounter have been identified as Shadab Putra Mahtab resident Ashok Vihar, Loni.
