Lucknow: A rape accused in Uttar Pradesh's Agra was blackmailing the victim. The accused was threatening to make the obscene video viral and asking the girl to come to him. However, since the girl was married, she refused. After this, the accused sent photos and videos of the victim to her husband. The woman complained to the police commissioner and lodged a case at the Tajganj police station.  

On Saturday, the police acted on the victim's complaint and arrested the criminal, and sent him to jail. ACP Sadar Archana Singh has told that the accused is Pawan Verma, a resident of Twin Tower, Tajganj. Earlier, he had a hotel in the Tajganj area and a petrol pump in Rajasthan. He sold the hotel to someone. The victim said that her elder sister used to work in Pawan's hotel. After which Pawan started coming home. Pawan first trapped his elder sister in his love trap. She was a minor in 2016.

Once the accused made her unconscious by drinking intoxicating cold drinks and raped her. During this time, he made obscene clippings and started blackmailing. Used to call her when felt like needed. When she complained to the elder sister, the elder sister did not listen to her but favored the accused. She was stunned and couldn't muster the courage to complain. By the year 2020, Pawan Verma physically abused her many times, and then she got married. Even after this, the accused did not give up. He used to message her and call her.
