UP police arrested smuggler with two head red sand boa

Lucknow: Police have arrested a smuggler named Sandeep from Kasta town under Mitauli police station area in L Khiampur Khiri district. Police have recovered two double-handed snakes of rare species from his possession. He was going to deliver these. But the police caught him red-handed. The police had received secret information from the informant that a person named Sandeep was going to deliver two rare species of snakes to someone.

On the basis of this secret information, the police laid down their nets and took a young man with a bike and caught him. The police have registered a case in sections of the Wildlife Act and informed the Forest Department for necessary action. The red sand boa called a two-mumble snake, values 10 to 20 lakh in India and one crore in the global market. This price depends on the weight of the snake. Hunters catch snakes from the jungles and reach out for smuggling.

In this case, the police said, the informant reported that a man was standing under the tree on the route from Kasta colony to Bhudkura with a bag carrying a snake to smuggle. He was waiting for the customer. The police took the information seriously and conducted an on-the-spot raid. Police caught the Town colony resident Sandeep on the spot.
