Kanpur: A 4-year-old innocent was molested by a van driver at Kohna in Kanpur. The girl narrated the entire incident to her family. The family lodged an FIR with the police station last Saturday night after hearing about the daughter. Police took the culprit into custody on Sunday and sent him to jail. In this regard, ACP Col. Ganj Tripurari Pandey has said that the 4-year-old girl goes to school by van. The van driver, Vishnupuri resident Rajesh Kumar alias Rakesh, used to take her to the school every day and in the meantime, he used to molest him.

According to reports, the girl told her family on Saturday that the van driver has bad touched her. Grandma was shocked to know about the bad touch. It was then that the girl's family lodged a complaint with the police against the van driver.

In this regard, the ACP said that the culprit has been booked under POCSO and molestation section and arrested. The charge sheet in the case is going to be filed at the earliest. The case is to be tried to be run in a court. So that the accused gets strict erring punishment at the earliest.
