Lucknow: A 13-year-old boy was strangled to death by a man named Mohammad Furqan in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that Mohammad Furqan wanted to do misdeed with the minor. But when he failed to do this disgusting act, he killed the boy. Police have arrested the killer, Mohammad Furqan.
Bijnor SP Dinesh Singh has said that the minor went missing on August 3, after which the family members along with the villagers searched for him a lot, but, till late night, no clue was found. According to police, 13-year-old Rihan's father Shakeel was a resident of Daranagar Ganj. On August 4, his body was recovered from forest department land behind Kashyap Mohalla in Bijnor's Daranagar. The post-mortem report revealed that he died due to strangulation. The accused, Furqan alias Kala (25), was arrested by the police on August 8. After which the accused confessed to his crime during the interrogation.
He told them that Rihan lived in his village. He had been luring him for a long time to misdeed Rihan. On August 3, as soon as he got the chance, he lured the boy and took him towards the forest at around 8 pm. There he took off Rihan's clothes and as soon as the accused started misbehaving with him, he ran away from his clutches and started shouting loudly and said that he would tell the whole thing to his family members. Fearing ignominy in the village, Furqan caught hold of Rihan and strangled him to death. Furqan fled from the spot after the incident.
